Peers Health and Beauty Expo

GRANGER, IND - Dr. Christopher Peers announces the first Peers Health and Beauty Expo.  The expo will take place on December 1, 2012 in Granger, IN from 9am – 2pm.  The event will be held in City Plaza on University Drive. 30 local health and beauty experts will also be a part of the expo.

The event is being organized by MegaBucks Marketing and Kathy Friend. Kathy has been the organizer of many community “buy local” events in the past; most notably the Overstock Sale that was a shopping must-attend for several years.   

When asked about the Peers Health and Beauty Expo,  Hershberger said, “We wanted to create an event where the community could come to a safe place free from intimidation, and get information about health and beauty issues.  We also wanted to bring about the notion of beauty from the inside out.  That is why we have such a great variety of vendors participating in our Expo.”

According to Kathy Friend, the participating vendors cover the gamut of health and beauty. Everything from dermatological procedures, nutrition, exercise, chiropractic care, supplements, dental procedures, hair, makeup, skin care, clothing, jewelry, and more.    

Friend said of the mix of vendors, “We have an amazing group of vendors, and have been able to partner with a local restaurant and a local author as well as some of our favorite local shops that will be opening up a second location for the day at our expo”. Vendors will offer "Expo Only" specials and deals, and offer informative and instructional workshops throughout the event.

In addition to being a place for the community to get information on health and beauty, this event will serve as fundraiser for Hello Gorgeous of Hope. “Hello Gorgeous is one of the organizations I wholeheartedly support.  Our partnership with them for this event is very exciting.  Texas Roadhouse of South Bend has also come alongside us in this effort to be our charitable sponsor", said Friend.
